Joey Han is a semi-finalist of the Redress Design Award 2019 and is currently studying at Shaoxing University in Zhejiang, China for a BA in Fashion Design and Engineering.

redress Design Award Collection

For her Redress Design Award collection, Joey was inspired by typhoons and the reminder of human vulnerability at the power of nature. Utilising up-cycling and reconstruction techniques to transform damaged textiles, end-of-rolls and secondhand clothing, Joey creates classic designs with a focus on versatility through their ability to be styled easily across the wearer’s wardrobe.
