redress Design Award Collection
Nessie’s collection for the Redress Design Award, titled ‘Dress to Impress’, explores and appropriates garment archetypes that are typically associated with male dress in the workplace and juxtaposes them with hyper-feminine details. She up-cycles high quality end-of-rolls and dead-stock textiles, and reconstructs post-consumer wool in her collection with the aim of generating emotional connectivity with an aesthetic that encourages longevity.
