redress Design Award Collection
For her Redress Design Award collection, ‘Strike Twelve’ Nishtha was inspired by the transformation of Cinderella from riches back to rags at the turn of midnight, deconstructing the idea of the seemingly perfect and highlighting her beautiful flaws. Nishtha applies reconstruction to a wide range of textile waste including sampling yardage, cut-and-sew waste, textile swatches, damaged textiles and secondhand clothing.
