Yu Yiting is a semi-finalist of the Redress Design Award 2019 and holds a Fashion Design degree from Shih Chien University, Taiwan. She is currently working as an Assistant Designer for ZUO in Taipei.

redress Design Award Collection

Yiting’s Redress Design collection ‘Blue Tears’, is named after the Chinese translation of microplastics - ‘tears of a mermaid’. She was influenced by the extensive pollution of our oceans from microfibres in our clothing and the damage it is causing. Yiting applies reconstruction and up-cycling to secondhand clothing and industry surplus textiles.
