redress Design Award Collection
Yip Yeung Yeung’s Redress Design Award collection Poor ME!, is an ode to the vast emotional contrast between life pre- and post-kids and draws on her experience of being a first time mother. She creates silhouettes, based on paper torn randomly by her child, by up-cycling sampling yardage, textile swatches and end-of-rolls. Zero-waste design also features through knitted and woven garments.
