Hoàng Hải is a semi-finalist of the Redress Design Award 2022. She holds a BA in Fashion Design and Manufacturing from the London College for Design and Fashion.

redress Design Award Collection

Hoàng’s Redress Design Award collection, ‘Revise the past’, is about bringing back ancestral wisdom, from traditional Vietnamese cutting techniques to natural dyeing techniques like using Cham leaf and coffee waste. Made from upcycled old bedsheets and pillow covers using zero-waste patterns, the designs’ baggy and contemporary styles can also accommodate different-sized wearers.
