redress Design Award Collection
Marie-Eve’s Redress Design Award collection, ‘Meandering lives’, reflects the sinuousness of life and the humble appreciation of the time and manual labour behind garments. Marie-Eve upcycles cut-and-sew scraps from previous collections into new fabrics; uses yarn from secondhand knitted sweaters; and reconstructs secondhand damaged clothing to create the collection, which prioritises monofibre materials for recyclability.
