Wang Sizhe is a semi-finalist of the Redress Design Award 2022. He is studying Fashion Design and Engineering at Jiangxi Institute of Fashion Technology.

redress Design Award Collection

Sizhe’s Redress Design Award collection, ‘Love & Safety’, brings attention to the daily danger of traffic accidents through its use of materials including discarded airbags and seat belts. The restructured fabrics are given different effects through sewing, fringing, and destroying, becoming garments in fitted and classic silhouettes and styles. A removable safety belt also allows users to personalise with sewing and adding decorative objects.
