Bio

Jasmine Leung is a finalist of the Redress Design Award 2023. She holds a Bachelor of Arts (Hon) in Fashion Design from the Technological and Higher Education Institute of Hong Kong (THEi).

redress Design Award Collection

Jasmine’s Redress Design Award collection, ‘Over the Midnight of Doomsday Clock’, regenerates plastic and electronic waste into unique beadings and sequins to present the image of modern fossils. She also sources recyclable materials, including end-of-roll recycled nylon and natural fibres like cotton and wool, as well as bio-based sorona, which is made from corn. The pleated skirt and ruffle pattern are designed with zero waste, enriched by various flower shapes, ruffles, and volume from pattern overlapping. Jamine’s collection features a black and dark colour palette and different styling options for added versatility and longevity.

Jasmine is also a Semi-finalist of the Redress Design Award 2021.
