Di is currently exploring her interest in textiles and fashion and will soon resume her Fashion Design degree at the Beijing Institute of Fashion Technology. She previously interned for Claudia Li.

Designing sustainable fashion and facing these waste challenges not only feels like the right thing to do but it has also boosted my design sensitivities even further. - Wang Di

redress Design Award Collection

For her collection, Di was inspired by the continuous interconnection between the four seasons in traditional Chinese philosophy and by the concept that everything has a purpose and should not be wasted. She up-cycled discarded textiles, sourced from her university’s design studios.
