The time has come: we’ve been working hard for months to prepare, and the coming days and weeks will be a wild and rewarding ride as we welcome the Redress Design Award 2023 Finalists (and judges!) to Hong Kong for a whirlwind of masterclasses, challenges, fittings, rehearsals, judging sessions, and unforgettable experiences, all leading up to the Grand Final Fashion Show.

Grand Final Show Livestream

Each year, the Redress Design Award culminates with the highly-anticipated Grand Final Fashion Show,  where the Finalists from around the world show their sustainable collections to a live audience of media, supporters, and industry leaders at Hong Kong’s CENTRESTAGE. It’s where the judges add their final scores, and the prize winners are revealed.

This year the Grand Final Show is at 6pm HKT on 7 September. It’s a huge night for Redress, the Finalists, and our community (you!) — and one not to be missed. Mark your calendar now to join the livestream from anywhere in the world, experience the show along with us, and cheer for your favourite emerging designer to win.

Special Exhibition at the Mandarin Oriental

This year Redress is partnering with the venerable Mandarin Oriental Hong Kong to exhibit designs from Alumni of the Redress Design Award, hosted as part of their 60th anniversary celebration series and featuring six emerging sustainable designers from Hong Kong, Brazil, India, and Taiwan.

Between 1–15 September 2023, visitors can explore these designers’ creations and their approach to sustainable fashion design at the historic hotel in the heart of Hong Kong, where they will be displayed in the East Lobby of the Mandarin Oriental, Hong Kong.

Redress Design Award Alumni at CENTRESTAGE

With Hong Kong open to the world, we’re more excited than ever to be supporting our talented Alumni  brands at CENTRESTAGE, Asia’s fashion spotlight event, from 6–9 September.

Drop by the Redress Design Award booth (3D-B06) to explore beautifully crafted collections from six Alumni of the Redress Design Award, supported by Alumni Sponsor Mercedes-Benz Hong Kong.

At the forefront of the new generation of fashion designers, these Alumni are demonstrating the power of sustainable and circular techniques combined with excellent design aesthetic — and we are here for it, along with the global buyers and fashion community who will attend the showcase.

2023 Finalists Exhibition at The Mills

The Hong Kong public can get up close and personal with the designs of this year’s Redress Design Award Finalists at an exhibition set in The Mills, the unique retail and arts space occupying a converted former 1950s textile mill.

Visit to see their sustainable designs, learn more about what circular fashion means, and why Redress believes that circularity is the future of sustainable fashion. 

As you walk through the exhibit, take a moment to reflect on the past, present, and future of fashion — from The Mills’ former glory at the forefront of the Hong Kong textile industry, to the current state of the fashion industry, to the emerging solutions and innovations in circular fashion design and production. 

Visitors will be able to engage with virtual Instagram filters to share their discoveries, including their favourite 2023 designers, with the world in 3D.
