Chloe Wright is a semi-finalist of the Redress Design Award 2018 and holds a BA in Fashion Design from Falmouth University, UK. Chloe is currently working as a Junior Garment Technologist and Ethical Compliance Assistant at a womenswear supplier.

Many people still view sustainable fashion as ‘tree hugger’ outfits and don’t look twice at these brands. Through my designs I want to erase this stigma. I believe that things must change so that sustainability becomes a way of thinking that all fashion designers work towards. - Chloe Wright

redress Design Award Collection

For her Redress Design Award submission, Chloe presents a zero-waste unisex collection up-cycled and reconstructed from industry surplus textiles and secondhand jumpers. With a focus on outerwear, the qualities of timelessness and slow fashion form the backbone of her designs through which she encourages the art of repair for longevity.
