redress Design Award Collection
For her Redress Design Award collection, Zoot Skater, Inhwa is inspired by the fashion choices of rebellious youth, such as 1940’s American Zoot suits and modern street skaters style. She reconstructs jackets and tracksuits sourced from secondhand markets as well as up-cycling surplus industry fabrics through a variety of techniques including printing, embroidery, and weaving, to create a modern collection with durability and comfort at its core.
