Jann Christian Bungcaras was a semi-finalist of the Redress Design Award 2020 and the People’s Choice winner. He studied Advance and Basic Fashion Illustration and Design Studio One- Design Problem Solving at SoFA Design Institute, and Basic Menswear and Basic and Advance Pattern-making at Fashion Institute of the Philippines - Cebu. He now is the founder of his own eponymous brand.

redress Design Award Collection

For his Redress Design Award collection, Adam’s Dominion, Jann is inspired by the responsibility God has bestowed upon people after creation and the mistakes we have made. Jann reflects on his own fashion journey by reconstructing his personal wardrobe mistakes into his collection, along with up-cycled cut-and-sew waste, damaged textiles and unsold clothing waste creating versatile outfits that can be styled in interchangeable ways.
