Countdown to the final

Since we announced our Redress Design Award 2018 finalists in May, our designers have had just over 10 weeks to make their collections – all created from a variety of different waste streams using one or more of the different techniques of zero-waste, up-cycling and reconstruction.

Now, they are adding the finishing touches and packing up their collections for safe courier with our logistics partner UPS, and preparing for their whirlwind educational trip to Hong Kong where in between their jam-packed schedule of challenges, fittings and rehearsals they will retreat to the luxury of brand new Hotel VIC, an exciting new partner for the Redress Design Award. Here in the comfort of their rooms, they will soak up the hotel’s spectacular panoramic views of the harbour!

For the all-important Grand Final Fashion Show, new make-up sponsor Popstar Cosmetics and returning hair sponsor KMS will ensure the models have dazzling runway looks to match our finalists’ stunning designs.
