Patrik Bukovszky is a Rising Talent of the Redress Design Award 2024. He holds a BA in Fashion Design and Development from the London College of Fashion, UK.

For his Redress Design Award collection ‘SOLAR HARVEST’, Patrik was inspired by his Hungarian heritage to design womenswear looks dedicated to stages of the crop cultivation process: sowing, watering, and harvesting. He sources waste textiles including cotton denim from failed prototypes, deadstock apple leather gloves, and cacti leather end-of-rolls. Patrik’s folklore-inspired designs include a patchwork square scarf made from textile waste and a modular pair of overalls that can be separated into a top and trousers, offering versatility.

As part of the Rising Talents programme, Patrik was mentored by Chris Jordan, Design Director, TAL Group; and Redress alum Grace Lant, Senior Business Development Manager, London College of Fashion.
